My tracking period ends this month, and currently waiting for points from a BA flight. Anyone know how long to expect, and what happens if they come next month after my new tracking period started?.
Well, to post the follow-up to my own question. I waited over 4 weeks without getting any points, double checked that my AY number was on the ticket so I thought they would just come automatically. But yesterday I assumed something must have gone wrong so I claimed them manually instead, and they showed already today (so I should have probably just done this from the start...), but they got credited to my current tracking period instead of my last one, which is exactly what I was afraid of. Which is extra annoying because those points will be enough to bump me up to Platinum if they apply to the previous tracking period...
But I assume this is just a mistake so I already talked with the AY support and they forwarded my question somewhere so I assume this will be sorted out, but yeah interesting nonetheless that this can happen...
