I have been retired for several years. I have an old EIN. I also have several personal UR cards and an Ink Business Unlimited card.
If I apply for an IHG business card and list a possible side hustle like selling stuff on eBay- something I do maybe once a year- or the occasional few bucks I get playing music gigs:
1. Will the worst thing that will happen is that I could be denied?
2. Should I use my old EIN or my SSN?
3. If I use it for personal use, will they figure that out?
4. If they do figure out that I use it for personal use, is the worst possible outcome that they cancel my IHG business card? Or could they cancel my personal cards as well?
5. What has been the experience of others regarding this?
