I have had a lot of pushback from check in staff at HEL and LHR about bags over 23kg when travelling economy with an emerald card (BA). I have printed out the Finnair webpage about the heavy bag charge being waived. I think their system does not know about this exception and they repeatedly try to charge me. After the Jun 2023 changes I think it will be very hard to argue against unless the website clearly explains this date related changeover (at LHR even a printout of the current webpage barely convinced them - they did not seem to understand the phrase "The charge is waived" - and that is in a supposedly english speaking country.
