I think because alcohol is available for free, some people may be tempted to drink or drink more. I rarely drink alcohol, but flying is one of those situations I may consider it mostly because of the availability without going out of your way. I will never drink alcohol in the lounge, for example, but something about the plane is slightly different. They come with the cart and peer pressure you to drink, lol...Or you get FOMO or that you do not use the resources properly, especially in J/F, lol.
