Interesting changes, some make sense, others really don’t. For me the red flags are:
1. Carryon 8kg hard limit in SH J - really crazy..
2. Heavy bag fee for Plats (really hope 2/3x 23kg can be converted into 1x 23-32kg…)

Increased award/upgrade points, and to certain extent also the copays, I can understand..AY needs cash and get the points balance down also.

I’m not saying I stop flying AY because of this but what I do make sure is to burn as many points as possible now… done with 640k today and more to come, surpised to find J awards to/from SIN, very pleased with those.
