I agree, but yesterday when I looked using Google flghts I have over 50 dates/routes that were pricing for basic economy for $45 to $50 for one way (LAS, LAX, SFO, PHX, ATL, etc.). Today all of these are now $89 for one way basic economy. It was over 30 different routes and times that were in that $45 to $50 band and ALL are now gone.

I guess everyone booked one way tickets between all o fthese locations via basic economy late last night or this morning.
