- Household Accounts: Any Household Account Member who earns Gold Upgrade vouchers must redeem them personally. Gold Upgrade vouchers are not part of the Household Account pool and cannot be redeemed by another Member of the Household Account. Household Account Members who earn Gold Upgrade vouchers are subject to applicable Household Account redemption rules, whereby the Gold Upgrade vouchers can only be used for Members within the Household Account.
I cannot work head nor tail out of that. Second sentence and last sentence seem to be at odds. I read that as I can redeem the voucher (sentence one) for use by any member of the household account (last sentence). But that appears at odds with the second sentence.
9. Gold Upgrade vouchers are available for British Airways, American Airlines, and franchise operated flights only. Other partner and codeshare flights are excluded. Please see below for further details on the use of such Gold Upgrade vouchers on American Airlines.
again not overly clear. On a 125 ticket. Of course I cannot upgrade the codeshare flight (except AA) so excluded. But does not say that codeshare flights cannot be on the booking. They are just excluded from the upgrade.
no wonder my TA, India and US cannot make head nor tail of it! I have a reasonable level of education from a good uni and I find this a muddle.
