2 questions if anyone knows.

1) I will be 5 or 6 points short of hitting status renewal threshold for Silver - is it likely I can ask them to do me a favour and waive the necessary 5-6 points?

2) how long are redemption upgrade waitlists taking now? When should i know for my flight on 24 June if my upgrade request has been successful?
