I’ve stayed at the centric and have no interest in going back. So now I’m considering Hyatt place vs Hyatt regency. The cash rates are cheap enough that I wouldn’t get the right value for my points, and right now I’m leaning toward Hyatt place, just because it’ll be about $100/night cheaper. As much as I try to avoid Hyatt places anywhere, as a globalist, I’m not sure if Waikiki is really worth spending more money at the Hyatt regency. Waikiki pools/beaches are far from Hawaii relaxing, and I can forgo the lounge food at the regency for all the good food on Oahu
