I looked high and low.. am now in United Club in LHR after flying on UA in Polaris Class from LAX. The meal was great but the damn salt and pepper shakers had holes so tiny nothing came out, no matter how hard I shook them. I'm sure somebody else has experienced that.... I even stuck my fork in one of them just to make the holes bigger but to no avail.
Those tacky little shakers are horrible. Such a waste of money and single use plastic. I jam a fork into it to twist open. Prefer they’d just do appear sachets, or provide salt/pepper on request, as CX does in J.
