Well, the same pattern is everywhere in tech at least in North America (can't comment about other parts of the world).
- Internal intra-company travel below board/VP level is pretty much non-existent unless it is well in advance scheduled/justified or for tech personnel travel is justified by urgent maintenance of critical systems.
- Client-facing travel has changed as well: while new client meetings are done face-2-face as usual, however for established relationships, it is significantly less travel as well because customers are not willing to pick up te bill either.
- If there is a trip, people usually fly on Monday and leave on Thursday because Tue-Wed are two days people come to the office.
