I stayed here last year on a business trip to London. Very nice hotel, rooms are certainly adequate in size. It is directly above the train station, which can be quite convenient

Directly across the street, then turn the corner to the left is "Halfway to Heaven", a very nice gay pub. As others have stated, it's just a short 10 minute walk up to SOHO, so you really are in a GREAT location at a very nice hotel.
