You will have a great experience at the La Defense Hilton. As I said, it's a little bizarre and somewhat hard to find if you ride the RER (suburban train service) ito the city from CDG (transfer at Les Halles/Chatelet)--total time about 25 minutes, depending on whether you catch an express. When you come up from the RER station, you will be disoreinted, I suspect because you will be in the middle of modern buildings and a huge plaza. No apparent Hilton sign (because, as I said, it is INSIDE another big building). But the savings ocer the other in-city Hiltons are worth it. Many choices of restaurants in the area (but I wasn't on a gourmet tour), easy transit back toward L'Etoilke, etc., and pretty good staff. (By the way, you'll get a bath robe, too---and you can keep it for about $100...as is true in any Hilton anywhere).
