To close the loop.
Got in touch with Lurkers, they stated they can see the cert attached even though the customer facing side doesn't, and said that if we did get dinged the points advance points, to reach back out. Or I could cancel from the manual lookup and redo the booking under my combined account number subject to room availability.
I did the latter, although the cert did not show up immediately and followed up with lurker on the same email chain, the cert showed up again the next day, which I then used to book the room that I cancelled earlier.
Much thanks to the social media customer service team, and recommend that other people going through account mergers don't have active reservations.
