Sorry if this is in the wrong place - I can't work out where to put this.
My sister gets airsick easily and she's worried that a strong wind warning on the weather report means that there will be bad turbulence on her flight. She's not sure whether to cancel or not.
Does her concern seem reasonable? Or is there no strong link between strong wind warnings and the turbulence you experience on a flight?
