The pool is not filled or in use in the wintertime. We just re-visited a week ago (in early May and had another great visit) and the pool is planned for re-opening within a couple of weeks.
The “pool” behind the main lodge may be filled soon but as I understand it they’re not reopening that as a pool, and building a newer one closer to the lake. They don’t seem to have started construction on that one yet though.
Also, Google maps has a tendency to want to take you around the Chapin estate - if you’re coming up 55 just turn into the gate when you see the chatwal lodge sign and buzz in.
