Qatar Air have clearly decided not to resume flying directly to Penang-
Economical for Qatar to fly only to KL & get anyone wanting to fly to Penang or Langkawi to use their One World partner, MAS.
Penang would love to have Qatar resume direct flights Doha to Penang.
But Qatar weren’t making $$ with this route- which served Qataris flying onward to Langkawi.
& they’ve used excuse of Covid to stop Penang flights permanently.
Penang Airport is just underused by international airlines, & this won’t change anytime soon.
