That’s about it in terms of positives. It’s pretty late in the ski season, so the hotel is severely understaffed, could easily spend 5+ minutes waiting at the front desk before anyone would show up. Service was pretty lackluster, Sandy’s waitresses were honestly just rude. Requests for additional towels/water/robes were forgotten several times, and I’ve called in twice now attempting to get an emailed receipt for my stay, have yet to receive it. Similar to other reviews, the stay has not posted to my Hyatt account, and there were several erroneous $40 charges on my folio that the front desk could not explain. Initially the front desk attempted to tell me they were correct, but after they couldn’t figure out what they were there for, it took 10-15 minutes to remove them.

The lift at the property is closed, so it’s no longer a ski-in-ski-out. The hotel offers a shuttle that runs between the property and Olympic Village every 30 minutes, which is somewhat less convenient. The remaining open lifts at Palisades close at 2 PM, so plan accordingly
When we skied Palasides Tahoe on the 4th of July back in 2019, we stayed here as well and would drive over to the village. It was much move convenient than taking the shuttle. Had no problems getting good parking spots.
