In a few months, I will need to travel from Europe to Central America. I have never been to the USA and I would like to take the opportunity to visit Miami or New York while in transit. However, all flights I look up either have short transfer windows (like 2 hours) or arrive in the evening in the US, and I don't feel like walking around in Miami or New York deep in the night. How can I either make my layover longer or have a flight arriving in the US in the morning?
