Stayed this past weekend for 16,000 points/night twin room. That makes it one of the pricier Comforts in Japan, on par with Roppongi, Tokyo.
The hotel is very centrally located, about 5 minutes from Hankyu Karasuma/Shijo subway station.
A new hotel with everything sparkling. Lots of Kyoto design "Japanese" touches that are lacking in most Comforts. Powerful shower, bidet toilet (of course).
Room sizes are typical of Japanese business hotels. Double room 14sqm, Twin is 19sqm. Twins are more expensive, but on points they are the same as a double.
They charge ¥1,000 per person for breakfast, which is uncommon in Japanese Comforts (most have complimentary breakfast). On the other hand, the breakfast did have a few specialty dishes.
There is also a small onsen on the first floor, again something uncommon in most Comforts in Japan.
The Japanese site has more information and pictures than the English site.
