Comments: comp breakfast is only "continental" (which includes oatmeal, grits, fruit, bread, cereal, and danishes) -- the rest of the buffet is a $6 upcharge but includes made-to-order omelets at a station; lounge is closed for the weekend after breakfast on Friday. However I did enjoy breakfast in the lounge on friday because they honored an 0830 check-in!!! 
Asked for upgrade via app for my last stay and I think they actually upgraded this one, so technically upgraded 5 days out I guess. Overall a terrific stay -- this is one of the better mainline Marriotts I've stayed at in recent years.
