I was looking to CNX - Chiang Mai (from BLR) - only Scoot flies to CNX. So while I can buy a revenue ticket with the final leg on Scoot (via SQ only), I definitely can’t see any availability to do this as an award. I do see availability on BLR-SIN.

I presume the issue is you can’t book an award on Scoot at all - I know even booking direct on SIN-CNX with Scoot, you can use miles to offset the $ based on whatever the miles-to-$ ratio is (I’m not even sure), but not based on a chart like with SQ and other full-service carriers. Maybe you can and no availability, but I presume it’s the former.

kind of annoyed at both SQ and TG for making it difficult to redeem, particularly for *A programs. Can’t use UA miles, for example, to go anywhere in Thailand besides BKK since every domestic TG flight is now Thai Smile, which is ‘separate’ from Thai - so no earning/redeeming either or even being able to book into those places on TG - there used to at least be a mix of TG/Smile on routes like BKK-CNX/HKT so it was possible (in this case - thinking about coming from BLR - from North America can book via TPE with EVA to CNX, but not ex-India). Same with SQ and Scoot - where Scoot flies a lot of the short flights beyond SIN, and so can’t use an award - or earn on other *A programs, or book beyond SIN to those places.
