So this weekend I went to two of Boston’s high end seafood restaurants, The Banks Fish House (part of the Grill 23 restaurant group) on Thursday night, and Ostra (part of the Mistral restaurant group) on Saturday night. The Banks was good. Ostra was great. Really great all around. In one visit Ostra has become not only my favorite Boston seafood restaurant, but one of my top all around Boston restaurants. And although it’s not inexpensive, we had two cocktails and two glasses of wine, and shared the tuna tartar, the kale Caesar, and the paella, which was more than enough food for two (including the bread service, which may have been the best bread I’ve ever been served in a restaurant), and the bill came to $209 (with tax but before tip).
