Most of my business travel stemmed from my first job, analyst and then prop trader for emerging markets. After that gig and being picked up for a permanent rotation, I sort'a got pigeonholed into it where whenever anything needed to be done in SE Asia, it was quite literally, "well, V, you go, since you have experience there." It's been that way my entire professional life, even when I started my own shop.

Not sure if I were ever a "frequent" flyer by FT standards, but I'm certainly not one now being relegated to mostly personal travel. Though, this may change with my new enterprise (FO) where, again, I'll likely return to some business or investments in Emerging Markets (SE Asia).
