You seem to be insinuating that this is the first piece of information from BA, but the image is just a screeenshot of what Tiffywren had already stated. The Liz that the BA Twitter representative is replying to in the screenshot is Tiffywren.

"We have been made aware that there is an error with the tier points calculator for LHR-IST. You are correct the number of tier points should be 80 per leg. The tier points calculator will be updated to reflect this as soon as possible. "
So hopefully everything will right itself soon and the correct TPs will be awarded.
