So just a wee update - I finally managed to access online chat after using a VPN to the USA. Unfortunately the first two agents were useless but the last one was decent – at first he said all sorted but then actually phoned me back to say he’d made a mistake! Looks like everything has changed recently in their system and they were totally unaware of VS joining SkyTeam (despite the press release at https://news.delta.com/virgin-atlant...yteam-alliance !). He’s going to escalate internally as it looks like things haven’t been properly updated.
