Lost luggage
Can anyone confirm the name of the general manager of the Sina Bernini Bristol?
We arrived to the hotel at 10 AM, knowing that our room would likely not be ready. It was not so we checked our bags with the bell man. We then had two tours and a dinner which got us back to the hotel around 10 PM.
When we checked in, we were told they placed our luggage in the room. To our dismay, we arrived to the room, and there was no luggage. After an hour and a half of back-and-forth with the front desk clerk, the night clerk, and the concierge and a couple of other staff, they could not find our luggage. They said they were searching empty rooms to see if our bags were placed elsewhere We ultimately had to go to bed that night with no luggage, fearing that our luggage is permanently lost , and we had none of our belongings for the night. After calling them in the morning, worried that we would have to cancel a tour and deal with lost luggage. They said they had found it.
We are obviously grateful to have our luggage again however we had a fitful night of sleep as well as not having key essentials. We would like to send a note to the general manager asking them , if they will compensate us in someway. It is a Sunday and we have to catch a flight early in the morning so we figure we will likely not be able to speak to the GM in person.
