Hi,
I will be travelling Seattle to Delhi (or Vancouver to Delhi) in September, with a stop-over at Istanbul. From Seattle it currently shows $2061 in economy (L class) for 3 people. Business class goes to over $10,000.
As this is long haul, we want to take business class. If I have to go with business class, which I want, we will drive and take Vancouver-Istanbul-Delhi, which is around $7,800 for three people.
I was reading in one of the blog, that it would take 45,000 Miles & Smiles points to upgrade from economy to business class. Per TA website, we can purchase 1,000 Miles for USD 30. Will it work this way better?
I am new to this and still trying to get to best way. I understand, if i want business class, I should buy it now or little later. But I am trying to save some, if there is better way.
Please advice.
