The cut of one FA was the cause for this unfortunate "bistro" mess.
Getting back to the full staffing requires a lot of complaints and people switching to other carriers, before it happens.
Otherwise, greed continues to reign supreme at LH.
I will add that the flight had three (3) passengers in F (I bid but my bid was not accepted) and there were two cabin crew in F. Certainly, if they were 'short staffed' in J - someone in F could/should have helped in J. IMHO they are 'training' the J passenger to accept this as the new normal.
As to the earlier question - why did I not buzz the stewardess - I was concerned that I would be so sarcastic that it would become unpleasant. You are correct though - I should have.
