I am still not convinced that holding the Brilliant for Platinum Status grants a Platinum year if you don't attain an additional 25 EQN over the 25 EQN the card provides or 10 EQN over 40 EQN if you also have a business card. The T&Cs on Amex refers you to the Marriott T&Cs. Nowhere in Marriotts T&Cs does it mention holding the Brilliant awards an annual Platinum year. Time will tell.
