April 2023 Experience

My experience with JAL in April of 2023 has been excellent. 4 segments: LAX-HND HND-BKK BKK-HND HND-JFK. Checkin was handled very well to include reminders anout my meal choices in case there was some mistake (they chased me down after leaving the checkin counter in BKK and wanted to make sure I did indeed want the Japanese meal). No problem or question about carry on ever. On board experience above and beyond expectation in every regard (and I've always been prone to expect the very best from JAL). Welcomed into F lounge before and after arriving HND in F and departing HND in C with a 6 hour rest in the transit hotel. I even had the pleasure of being served a 12 yr old Yamazaki in the JAL Salon AFTER they closed when the bartender saw I was indeed interested in having a taste of this beverage. The last segment checking in at HND they effortlessly printed out bag tags for my AA domestic flight from JFK on a completely seperate PNR saving me time and effort down stream the proceeded to walk me to an alternate Face Recognition terminal with no waiting in line to save a few minutes with HND security I don't recall any airline performing such great service in this day and age...

Cheers,
