There is a god after all..and she's a supervisor at BAEC. At long long last I have had my first class AS operated AA flights properly credited as AA flights with tier points and all. That proves that it is possible & correct as I thought all along - just thoroughly difficult to achieve. I'm certain this is through no fault of BA, I'd imagine AA and AS need to talk since when you check in for an AS operated flight booked on AA it seems impossible to get the AA flight number to print on the AS boarding pass. I have several more such flights coming up. I hope I'll not be reduced to begging them for AA numbers !!!
