I'm scheduled to fly ORD-TPE on the Hello Kitty Shining Star jet on a Tuesday this summer; website says it runs out of ORD on Tue-Thu-Sat. Looking at flight aware, it looks like the aircraft (B-16722) is only on the ORD route about 67% of its schedule for some reason; the other 33% consist of aircraft swaps (e.g. it runs Tue-Sat but is swapped Thu). If I happen to be a victim of an aircraft swap, will there still be Hello Kitty service/amenities?

Is there any way to contact EVA and request they try and not swap out the jet on my flight? Doubt it, but I know Icelandair has a passenger request program for their special jets, so I figured it was worth asking here.
