Fairly good stay here this past week. I've stayed at many NYC Hyatt properties in the last year (Park Hyatt, Thompson Central Park, 50 Bowery, Hyatt Union Square and now Park South); I'd rank Park South tied with Union Square for 2nd place after the Park Hyatt on that list. I was upgraded to a City View room as Globalist, which is their highest category. The room was spacious enough by NY standards, the bed was comfortable, lobby area was nice, and the wifi fast and reliable. Service was very good overall; the front desk was very responsive to my requests. The only negative is the breakfast is pretty poor; just grab and go items from a coffee shop in the hotel, though there are a few tables where you can sit and eat. Very limited hot food options, just a quiche I believe, which I assume they heat up in the microwave.

I would definitely return if looking for a location on the east side in midtown.
