I didn't see it as efficiency - but rather as alienating me. I don't think I will take that flight again. Cursory service in Business class...
Having experienced the full LX F experience (i.e., included the full ZRH ground experiences – and this was my first interaction with LX), I was considering experiencing the old LX J as well, before the hard product becomes more uniform across LHG airlines.
I was specifically thinking of an eastbound one so as to render upgrading to F less worthy than the westbound counterpart.
Now I am having second thoughts on using my hard-earned Amex MR points on this one. Hmmmmm
