After a terrible experience on BA0007 on Thursday, I can relate
I was offered paid upgrades yet couldn’t check-in online as “the flight is overbooked” Seriously?
The lady next to me said she and her husband were supposed to be in Business and where downgraded to Premium — in separated seats. Funny story? In the long immigration queue at Haneda another passenger was so happy about being upgraded from economy to business alongside three others! Seriously? I wish I found the lady I was sat with earlier afterwards
Same shocking service: no idea when food would be served, daytime flight treated like a redeye with all the staff missing presumably sleep, no wifi, no immigration/customs forms where handed out (caused chaos at Haneda)
Oh an do BA freeze the little milks they use for coffee? Two of those and my coffee was barely warm!
I’ll be sticking to JAL when I can, but it’s a lot cheaper on BA with Avios
