Then I went to work for a couple of years as a Reservation Sales Representative (RSR) for UA. Knowing what the letters actually stood for made them easier to remember. E.g. OrchaRD Field or Moisant Stock Yards.
I interned for a large European airline when I was in high school. My first assignment to memorize their entire list. I never imagined that information we become something slightly useful.
