Most people do not look up to watch planes passing overhead, nor even notice them unless they are making a nuisance. The people who would be interested in knowing which airline it is would probably be glued to one of the flight apps anyway, and would know not only the airline but the flight number, the aircraft type, the names of the cabin crew and how many top-ups the chap in 1A has had.
