Room was modern and spacious .

Good
Status recognised on check-in on a rewards stay - took Breakfast for 2.
Modern spacious rooms with decent A/C unit.
Quirky location overlooking a racecourse.
Breakfast was fresh and delicious for HI, albeit limited.
Lobby and bar/breakfast area was modern and kept clean, interior all racecourse/horse themed which was a nice touch.
Good access to A14.


Bad
There was an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink that meant water couldn't drain. Staff were very quick to help with this and open it up for us, but advised it couldn't be 'fixed' and was something they knew about, we opted to keep it 'open for the rest of the stay.
Breakfast selection was limited - I have had better spreads at HIXs.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Paid 18k points for 1 night - this reflected good value given the racecourse location and I was visiting relatives in the area. This rate was much cheaper than equivalent HI/HIXs in Cambridge. I would definitely return if I am back in the area.
