Not quite as bad as flights to Madeira. Where flights are routinely cancelled or diverted. Earlier this week a Condor flight had to divert to Gran Canaria. Next morning, on the next attempt to land, they had to divert to Porto Santo, then on the third attempt diverted back to LPA..then on the fourth attempt , they had to divert to Porto Santo again! The passengers had unplanned visits to LPA (twice )and to Porto Santo (twice), all in 2 days. Passengers booking FNC on the BA LHR-FNC-LHR flights, should always have alternate and VERY flexible plans.
