I flew in 1A yesterday, and yes about meal and off the plane. Be aware there is much slamming of doors and other heavier things from the kitchen directly in front, and much going past to use the loo, so keep that in mind if you are hoping to sleep. Oh, and chatter from the FA´s if they are that kind of crew...
