Some unrelated questions:

1. Given that GS upgrades clear into PN, do GS CPUs clear before other elites using an instrument?
2. If I book a flight 6 months out for 2 people that shows PZ0 and apply (1K) plus points, and assuming we're top of the upgrade list, will United ever publicly release PZ1 rather than upgrading the 2 people? Or will they "hold back" PZ1 until either a solo traveler is top of the upgrade list or PZ2 becomes available?
3. How smart is United's conflicting reservation detector? Does it only detect overlapping flight times or does it also detect impossible repositioning times, e.g. EWR-CPT on Dec 1 and EWR-TLV on Dec 2?
