Much ado about nothing with regard to bag fees for the Tallinn-Zurich Swiss coded flight operated by Air Baltic. Our checked bags flew for free.

Turned out there were no checked bag fees for the TLL-ZRH Swiss flight operated by Air Baltic, but I did not learn that until I arrived at Tallinn Airport. As far as I could tell from Swiss website, I had no checked bag allowance as a Star Gold member on a basic economy ticket and I would be charged $75 or more for one bag.

I spent several hours trying to figure out the situation with checked bags for my Air Baltic flight. Swiss did not respond to my questions until 18 hours before flight and after I checked in. The response from Swiss was simply I would have to deal with checked bags when I arrived at Tallinn Airport since I had already checked in.
