Yes departed this morning, arrived around 9:40am.
Yes the Liz line (lack of) service to T5 (and T4) is ridiculous. Only every half hour. I did know about this and planned my travels to catch the train from Liverpool going to T5 but I was early and jumped on a T4 train. At T2/3 the next train to T5 was in 15m so I went upstairs to try the Piccadilly Line but I pulled up the TfL app which suggested 15 minutes before the next achievable eastbound train so went back down to wait for my “original” Liz train.
Fast Track (north) had no line, just 8 *really* slow passengers taking their time putting their stuff into the bins.
Galleries North was quite busy, a bit hard to find a seat.
Fortunately there wasn’t much queue for the elevators down to the transit (around 10:40am), got on the first one. But this seems pretty boneheaded. At least have an agent hustling people on and IN to the cab. Seems I spent my day pushing through ignorantly selfish travelers who don’t realize you exit the opposite side. Same on the lift up from the Liz line.
Galleries B was a lovely oasis I wish I knew earlier my flight was departing from B.
Terrible Champagne selection at Duty Free, only Moët or Veuve (and Lanson), don’t really like any of those.
It took me literally 12 tries with 3 different CCs to connect to the BA Wifi.
