Tri-Rail to downtown Miami begins in Nov '23

FYI on this extension project to the new Miami Central station that was built for Brightline - map makes it look like a spur so it does not appear to be a direct connection from the MIA airport station, but still handy for northbound passengers and another alternative from FLL or even PBI
