Only the a350 is 3-3-3 in Y and has a PE section that is 2-3-2
On manage my booking the plane appears as a330-300 which is 2-3-2 in all configurations (some models have PE, others don’t).
So an interesting situation but nobody has said we are trying to book PE on a short haul. Only that the seating configuration is odd given the model displayed (a330).
I believe you mean 2-4-2 on A330. Except PE of course. If its 3-3-3, suggests an A350 as you say so odd it shows A330. As an aside, I bought a ticket in Economy with upfront seats included and was able to book in the PE section on a LHR-MAD.
