Elite members can usually select PE seats with a Y ticket. But the flight is so far away that perhaps IB hasn't opened those seats for pre-selection.
The seat map is showing 3-3-3 in Y and no PE configuration.
Only the a350 is 3-3-3 in Y and has a PE section that is 2-3-2
On manage my booking the plane appears as a330-300 which is 2-4-2 in all configurations (some models have PE, others don’t).
So an interesting situation but nobody has said we are trying to book PE on a short haul. Only that the seating configuration is odd given the model displayed (a330).
