Once the PRC airlines can fly like they were before Covid then prices will drop substantially, at least to North American destinations.
This makes sense, but I don't blame the US government, I blame the CCP, both for their hostilities that have resulted in restrictions from other countries, and their poor handling of the pandemic that originated in China in the first place.
