I don't want to give my exact dates, but I just booked a trip to LA in a few weeks time, and purchased PE and lodged an APD upgrade to BP and both ways it was confirmed immediately. Clearly Air NZ is wanting their BP Cabins to look more full and free up space in PE, just a tip.
