HUCA. I had 2 certificates extended last month (but in separate calls). Sometimes the agent just doesn’t want to do it and they’ll (presumably) lie to you to justify that. Pretty awful customer experience tbh but I’m grateful at least some agents are willing to extend.
My wife and I tried a couple more calls, but the reps were all saying they no longer extend. Not helpful.
Today I tried again, and this rep said sure, and extended mine. I then passed the phone to my wife, to also extend hers. One time courtesy extension.
So the Marriott system can still do it, the reps can still do it. What some reps said are apparently lies.
